We normally perform Handel’s Messiah unabridged every year at the Royal Concert Hall, but of course this year, we had to cancel. Not to be beaten, we decided to hold a virtual Messiahthon. Around 111 members and Friends of Harmonic joined in and thoroughly enjoyed singing this well-loved oratorio classic. Our Music Director, Richard Laing, dressed in full concert attire led us with a virtual Royal Concert Hall backdrop. He interspersed the Chorus sections with some rather wonderful solo performances, including a previous performer with Harmonic, the now famous Bryn Terfel.
